The Avery Fisher Artist Program announced that David Aaron Carpenter is a recipient of a 2010 Avery Fisher Career Grant. David Aaron Carpenter, Joyce Yang, Kirill Gerstein and Yuja Wang are the four 2010 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipients. Last February, David performed with Gidon Kremer, Yo-Yo Ma, and Tzimon Barto the Brahms G minor Quartet at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. The quartet also gave the World Premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s ‘Three for Two.’
