David Awarded Leonard Bernstein Award 2011

Leonard Bernstein Award 2011, announced to be given to David Aaron Carpenter. He will be the first violist in history to receive the award and will be presented by members of the Bernstein family in Germany on August 27th, 2011.

Last February, David performed with Gidon Kremer, Yo-Yo Ma, and Tzimon Barto the Brahms G minor Quartet at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. The quartet also gave the World Premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s ‘Three for Two.’
